What is it with dreams? Why do they have to be so weird? Is it just a reorganising of our memories as we finish the day, or are they deeper than that?
Plus – whose fault is it when you dream about stuff? Say you are in the bed next to your wife and you dream about another woman, are you in control of that? I know one thing you are in control of – telling your wife about the dream! Of course if you talk in your sleep then you’re knackered, but I haven’t know anyone do that.
I have heard you can’t lie when you talk in your sleep… I have always wanted to test that but haven’t found anyone who talks in their sleep… imagine what you could find out! That is sort of evil though, but funny.
I think dreaming is just your imagination stretching its legs a little bit, mixed in with part of your brain organising stuff as well, I think a little party happens in your brain every night, little brain monsters come out with forklift trucks to store away your memories and move them round, then your imagination puts on some wellies and goes for a trudge round the depths of the swamp of your brain, you oversee everything and this all combines into weird dreams…
You can control your dreams you know, lucid dreaming would be wicked, imagine being able to do anything you want in your dreams, forget video games, just imagine it and you can do it, kill it, be it – and of course… fly! I’d sleep 23 hours a day if I could do anything I wanted in my sleep, I need to order some books on lucid dreaming, hmmmmm, alright I’m nipping to Amazon now!
